On December 10, 2007, the Board of Directors of Pioneer Drilling Company (the “Company”) approved a change of the Company’s fiscal year-end from March 31 to December 31. The Company will file a Form 10-K covering the nine-month transition period beginning April 1, 2007, and ending December 31, 2007. The Company’s next fiscal year will cover the period from January 1, 2008, through December 31, 2008.
