Item 8.01 Other Events.
 
On January 2, 2008, the Company announced the settlement of the patent dispute with Medical Depot, Inc. (d/b/a/ Drive Medical Design & Manufacturing) (“Drive Medical”) and MediSupply, Inc. In conjunction with the settlement, Drive Medical will be the exclusive manufacturer and Sharps will be the exclusive seller of the Sharps Pitch-It™ IV Poles. The settlement resolves all issues between the parties related to the patent litigation. See Press Release included herein as Exhibit 99.1 for additional information.
