ITEM 5.02 DEPARTURE OF DIRECTORS OR CERTAIN OFFICERS; ELECTION OF DIRECTORS; APPOINTMENT OF CERTAIN OFFICERS; COMPENSATORY ARRANGEMENTS OF CERTAIN OFFICERS.
Effective April 29, 2013, Eric A. Bakken, who previously held the titles of Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Business Development and Interim Corporate Chief Operating Officer of Regis Corporation (the “Company”), was appointed as Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel of the Company. In this role, he will lead the Company’s franchising, mergers and acquisitions, internal audit, legal, real estate/design/construction and travel functions.
